Self Evaluation
What am I learning? I am learning how to write, say, and comprehend simple sentences in Spanish from both formal and informal perspectives.
How do I learn? I learn Spanish from memorizing vocabulary words, writing, and speaking Spanish everyday in and out of class.
Why am I learning? I am learning Spanish because it is important to have the ability to speak to others of another language. Having the ability to speak more than one language will enhance social interactions from both work and with friends. Speaking Spanish is more important than any other language when a Spanish speaking country shares a border with your country.
Where am I in progress toward my goal? So far, my Spanish abilities allow me to awkwardly put together a sentence, and understand a few words when spoken to in this language. I highly doubt I will have the capabilities of taking Spanish III and IV, but I wish to continue learning after school with programs like Rosetta Stone.

Spanish II
Self Evaluation
What have you improved on and what do you still struggle with in Spanish II?
My abilities in Spanish have improved in every way, shape, and form. I have greatly improved on vocabulary since Spanish I(probably because I study more). I find the most recent grammar concept of when to use imperfect or preterite quite difficult; however, I know that I will soon conquer this concept.
How have you grown in Spanish II?
I find that I have a greater understanding in all fields. Instead of asking someone for assistance like in Spanish I, I find myself assisting others more often than in Spanish I. In Spanish I, I passes with a B+ with minimum amount of effort, but this semester I have much easier classes, so it is my goal to pass 93% to be an above average Spanish student.
How can Spanish help in life?
Knowledge of more than 1 language is a great skill that is hard to acquire. Knowing more than a single knowledge will help with social situations when speaking to someone not familiar with your native language. Spanish is most important 2nd language to know since we live in the south part of America. I still know people to this day who didn't know English in the past. Know they know both English and Spanish, so they have a greater range of people to communicate with in a social or formal scenario.
Do you plan to explore deeper into the Spanish language?
I do not wish to expand my knowledge of Spanish from the school system. If I were to expand my knowledge, I would most likely use an independent source to accomplish this. However, the Spanish culture has interested me greatly, which is why I wish to enroll in the Spanish Club next year.
